CHANGING THE WAY WE SEE PRODUCTS FOREVER … Get ready for the next generation of authentic product information

170301 PHD TEASER 750x250

Consumer concern for product transparency is a significant problem for the built environment industries but Global GreenTag International is set to present the market with a solution.

GreenTag is launching an important new transparency tool for delving into product information that is going to empower manufacturers and building professionals to deliver projects with a level of transparency that has never been seen before.

The conscious consumer is on the rise, says Global GreenTag’s CEO and Program Director David Baggs.  We need to change the way we see products forever. Consumers are making it their business to ask for trustworthy, authentic product information and, especially if it concerns risks that are associated with products that are selected for the buildings they are going to occupy.

Unveiling the new tool at a  Media Launch on the opening day of Total Facilities 2017 David Baggs is going reveal how the new tool will work, to:

  • Build greater market trust in manufacturers whose brands are certified with the new tool;
  • Increase the integrity of firms, building professionals and facility managers who use the tool in designing and specifying on projects – and work in systems like Green Star, WELL, LEED and Living Building Challenge;
  • Simplify complex but critical product information that all stakeholders can easily understand and communicate with greater confidence and,
  • Influence bigger changes for the built environment industries in Australia and throughout the world.

Barangaroo South Lend Lease 3

The global alliance between Leadlease and  Delos™ is leading a revolution to accelerate WELL ready workplaces around the globe. This is great news for GreenTag certified building manufacturers.

In Australia,  Lendlease is already moving forwards to integrate human health and wellbeing principles of the WELL Building Standard™ into the new International Towers Sydney at Barangaroo.

“The need and commonsense for product certification is greatly supported by the WELL Building Standard,” says GreenTag CEO and Program Director David Baggs.

“Manufacturers who are certified are already ahead of the game. It will be interesting to see how the greater market responds.”

David who is a renowned green building architect, materials expert and Green Star and LEED Accredited Professional has a unique edge to offer the wider industry as it engages with the WELL Building Standard™  As GreenTag’s program director he has a deep understanding of how to bridge green manufacturers with the needs of the green building market.

“It give us great pleasure to help all parties concerned to understand the intricate value of certification, the potential for improving manufacturing processes and supporting more building professionals in how to effectively apply certified products into their green projects.”

The WELL Core & Shell Certification and pre-Certification programs were developed in response to investor and tenant demands for healthier workplace environments.

Lendlease and Delos first announced their alliance in November 2015, making a commitment to bring human health and wellness innovations to Lendlease markets around the world through adoption of the WELL Building Standard™ (WELL).

Lendlease has also identified additional buildings and tenancies around the world to undergo certification, also covering  Europe and the U.S.
